Discovery Panel

This Carer led activity is designed to direct the focus of the user on specific stimuli (gender specific items included). The panel secured by velcro is opened one section at a time with the used section being folded underneath. The items placed in the panel prior to use and components when discovered initiate memory and conversation. Contents and components stimulate olfactory (smell), auditory (sound) and tactile (touch) senses. The Discovery Panel is also used as an assessment tool for those who are visual learners.
