MUSICALARMCHAIR TRAVELS training & resource program
Facilitated with music, MUSICAL ARMCHAIR TRAVELS activity is a dementia-based program which endeavours to trigger memories that can take people on imaginative journeys and so, during your armchair travels sessions, music becomes a powerful tool to tease out memorable experiences from the participants in your group.
This unique training package includes a training DVD, practical session guidelines and six music CDs to enable staff to facilitate engaging and therapeutic, music-based activities for aged care clients. On the DVD, highly qualified and experienced aged care professionals reinforce the use of best-practice programs to enhance the quality of life for our elders in care.
